英文摘要: This study investigated the seismic performance and soil-structure interaction of the scoured bridge pile foundation. Shaking table tests were conducted for a model bridge with pile foundation in a biaxial laminar shear box at National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE), Taiwan. The model bridge was comprised of a lumped mass representing the superstructure, a steel column, a footing supported on a single aluminum pile, and liquefiable sand. The pile tip was fixed at the bottom of the shear box to simulate the situation that the pile was embedded in a firm stratum of rock. Strain gauges and accelerometers were positioned on the pile surface to observe the behavior of the pile under ground motions. The accelerations and displacements at various depths of soil, the changes of soil pore pressure during near field and far field excitations, and the settlement of the ground surface after each shake were also measured. The model bridge was subjected to one dimensional shakes, which included white noise, sinusoidal acceleration and earthquake records. The seismic performance of the model bridge pile foundation was discussed for different input ground motions. The test results showed that the structural frequency had significant changes when soil liquefaction occurred.
